Can't Stop in Manila Experience

My fangirl side is the one talking in this post. This contains too much spazzing and I can be the most biased person in this world but I don't really care.

The concert that I was talking about happened last Friday, September 19. The weather that day is stormy. Define stormy. Strong rain and wind, flood everywhere and you just don't know when the rain will stop. Before even I woke up, I already received quite a number of phone calls from my parents and relatives asking whether I'm okay and the area where I was staying is flooded or not. That kind of weather is not my kind of thing. I like rain but too much. Deep inside I still have so many worries about the concert and other things but the rain almost topped it all.

Thank God for my unlimited mobile data I was able to monitor twitter and facebook. So many fans are on the brick of panic asking whether the concert is on or postponed due to the bad weather.  And All Access did a good job back then, confirming that the concert will push through around nine or ten in the morning. To be honest, I don't think they will postponed o cancelled it. Korean artists and its management follow a strict schedule to be honest.

Fast forward when I was already at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. That day is already the concert day but I still haven't got a hold on my ticket. I bought it from BlueStorm, it is also a fanclub of CNBlue. Somehow, I understand that the admins were busy preparing for the boys and other things but then they should also know that it is kind of their responsibility to respond to our inquiries  about how we can get our tickets. It is kinda sad that I have contact a lot of people and roamed around the Gateway Mall several times before I can actually get hold of my ticket. Because of that roaming around, I wasn't able to attend the gathering for Yongseo Philippines. I really want to attend that gathering and meet fellow shippers but then I just can't attend the gathering when I was still worrying about my ticket. So before the concert actually started I was already tired and haggard from all the chasing plus my feet are already hurting. I was in dire need of a chair, water and food.

Okay! Enough with the rants and worries I have before the concert.

Upon entering the venue, you can already see this on the screens on the stage.

Minutes before the start of the concert, these videos were being played on the screens on stage and the one above (I really don't know what it is called!) where you usually can see the score during basketball games.

So they are really building the next CNBlue school here in the Philippines. I wonder where they will build it. I must find out and try to visit the place.

I remembered there was a time when the staff went on stage (I think ten minutes before the start of the concert) and the fans started shrieking like crazy. I really thought that the boys are already on stage. Turns out, those were just the staff testing that the instruments one last time. I was busy talking to my new found unnies that time that I really don't mind what was happening on the stage.

The Can't Stop clock. I call it that way. It is the clock that can be found in the album cover of the Can't Stop album. It is a video wherein the clock kinda serves like as a countdown to the start of the concert.

Seriously speaking, I don't know what to feel when that clock appeared. Sure, it is a countdown to the start of the concert. But then, it is a timer for me wherein there are only a few seconds left before the boys that I love so much will appear in front of me.

I don't know what to feel when they appeared on the stage. It still feel surreal till now. I just recalled that I was screaming so loud and non stop at that point. I have even planned earlier that I will take pictures and videos but then when I finally saw them, I know that it is an impossible task. I sang along with them and waved my light stick every now and then. Oh, I really screamed my heart out. If I took pictures they will be blurry because my hands are shaking so much even before the start of the concert. If I have taken a video, it will be filled with my scream and it will kind of useless after all.

Everything is kinda blurry after that and I don't think the pictures that I will post are in correct order. I can't even remember the order of the songs they played. All I know is the first song is Time is Over then followed by Diamond Girl. After that, I don't know what was the next song.

I will just post the pictures based on the order of them in the folder. Yes, I know! I'm kinda useless in these kinds of things. But I will try my best to insert things I can recalled based on the pictures.

I think the talking times are one of the most memorable moments in the concert for me. Though what they are saying are scripted, I truly appreciated the effort they gave to say the words correctly. The feels that exudes when they asked the fans "kamusta ka" is so great. For me, those words are so precious already.  Very mahal kita  and very salamat are the words mostly used by Yonghwa that night. He keep always on saying Manila. Maybe he remembered that last year he called Manila as Singapore. So this year, he keep calling Manila though it is completely unnecessary. Maybe he is reminding himself that he is in Manila not Singapore. Bravo dude!

Yonghwa's muscles!!

Yonghwa keeps on flexing his muscles during the concert and literally the fans were going gaga over it. The more the fans screamed, the more he flexed his muscles. Well, I'm quite amazed that his muscles are that developed despite the fact that he is still kind of skinny.

So what makes me go crazy?

Yong pits baby!!

The moment he raised his hands and that pits appeared, it's like a new energy entered me. I'm energized that way. Call me whatever you what but that was the first time that I'm going crazy over those pits. I don't have a fetish over them, it's just that I kinda see them as a beautiful sight that night. I kinda hit my seatmate so hard when Yong raised his arms and keep on screaming Yong pits baby. Waaaahh!!

Enough of that pits! Yonghwa's vocals that night is so amazing to think that was so tired and looks like a sleep walker when he arrived the day before. I never thought that I will grow to love that shrill shriek of him and also the energy he had that night is so indescribable. The way he sing song after song with that energy. I just mesmerized with his voice that he can shift from rock to ballad songs smoothly. At first I do not like his hair in all honesty but I never thought it will be a good props to head banging. I never appreciated his hair since he wore it long for the drama until that night. I was even asking myself the day before if he got permed because it's kinda wavy in all angles. My only worry was that he might hit the microphone while banging his head back and forth.  Yeah, my worry is kind of senseless but then . . .

Immaculately clean look of Jonghyun.

Can you imagine how I go super duper crazy the moment Jonghyun appeared on stage? Maybe Jonghyun's looks is one of the reason that I lost my voice after the concert. I never truly imagine him to look that way. Well, I'm a fan of white skinned guys but admit it or not, he's kinda dirty looking the past months because of his long hair. I forgive Yonghwa for having long hair because he has a drama but for Jonghyun it is a different story. Though I already imagined him having that long hair while rocking out together with his guitar that's why I chose a seat in Jungshin's side and Jonghyun is on the other side. But then he got a haircut and have fun teasing the fans of his  hair in twitter the day before they went here. So every time Jonghyun will go to our side, I literally screamed my lungs out.

Jonghyun's voice is heaven sent. 'Nuff said! When they sang These Days, I didn't recognized the song at first though I was listening to it for weeks. It doesn't help that my seatmate was also asking the title of the song. Gosh! I can't concentrate. Jonghyun's voice can be a lullaby sometimes. It's soothing that you just want to keep on listening to it.

Don't you love this picture of Jonghyun? As usual, he is having his own world. Idling on his own while the others are busy talking to the audience.

Maknaes' on the roll!

Uri maknaes! Since I'm on Jungshin's side, I can see him quite clearly. Man! He is overflowing with aegyo. While in Minhyuk's case, he's always behind the drums. So if you are not in the front, you can't clearly see him. If ever you are in the front, you can take a peek on him just like how he peeks to the camera. But I saw him  when he stood up, he's just so cute.

I can't clearly remember what part Jungshin sang. I heard him rap during the song Wake Up and sang during Love Light but that was the time that almost everybody was screaming and jumping all around. I absolutely admire Minhyuk's drumming skill especially on those times that he was the one who have to end the song with that strong beats (?) and he has to hit the drums strong. Surely at the end of the day, his hands and arms hurts from too much hitting.

Jungshin's birthday celebration.

Jungshin's birthday was last September 15.  So as a gift, Boice PH gave him a cake for his birthday.

Isn't the cake too cute? And there is also Simba, Jungshin's dog. Minhyuk was also cute when he noticed that there is a miniature of Simba in the cake. After than, they started talking in Korean and my questioning face is on. Even those ahjummas in front of me looked at me as if I can understand what the boys are saying. Sorry! I also didn't understand and the crowd that time was noisy that I can barely hear what they were saying.

And there goes Jonghyun once again. I think he was trying to taste the cake or maybe he's just curios of the design of the cake. Nah! I think he wants to eat the cake even before Jungshin had the chance to take a good look on it. Some says that Jonghyun has a sweet tooth, is that true?

The Love Light Project.

Isn't this project amazing? This is the fan project of Yongseo Philippines. There is a balloon which has a LED light inside or a ring which you can turn on in every seat. The bad thing is, some of those people who sell food in the venue gets and keeps them. That's the story on how I got the ring and balloon in which originally I should just have the ring.

I read on some articles that they thought that the fan project is for Jungshin's birthday. Well, it's not! There is a banner in the SVIP area for the birthday celebrant and that was their fan project. Originally, the balloons and rings should be raised during the song Love Light that's why it is called the Love Light Project. That song is like the national anthem for us, gogumas, and that is a project sponsored by their fan club so it just logical that it will be raised when the boys sings that song. But some people gets ahead of themselves. At the start of encore, they already started raising the balloons. And it was during the encore that we sang the birthday song for Jungshin. So the writers add that fact and the other fact then BOOM! That's what they concluded and written in newspaper articles.   I don't know if it is bad or what. But then they said that the balloons is a unique project and it created a beautiful atmosphere so it is a good review, right?

Yonghwa: This is the last song. We wanna just say thank you for making a good concert here in Manila with all of you even though the weather is bad. I pray for you! We will come back here, I promised you!

Actually there still a continuation after that promise but I can't clearly hear it because of too much screaming in the fancam. The moment he promised, my mind is already working overtime. I need to find a decent or good paying job. Seeing and hearing them perform live once is not enough. You will just keep on missing them. That is the problem with me or is it just with me? Post concert depression is one of a kind especially if you had prepared so much for that. The next day, I was already tweeting how much I miss them. It's just so sad!

The Final Bow.

They went to the right side first then bowed while saying thank you over and over again. Then to the left side and finally on the center stage. I could be sobbing by that time of only my seatmate is not talking to me. Thank God for her!

Overall, I really enjoyed the concert. Maybe the evidences that will confirm I enjoyed is the lost of my voice afterwards, my heels really hurts till now and I didn't take fancams. Oh, I took one but it is not a full song since I can't record properly because I just badly need to sing along and I don't want to hear my voice in the fancam. My fancam is here. I don't know how to insert a vimeo video here in blogger. It sucks to be me!

The concert is great as well as the lightning. Maybe my problem was that the spotlight is kind of late in following the member. There was a time that Yong when to our side and the light was turned off. WTH?!! I badly need to see his face though I can actually see it from afar. And there was a time that Jonghyun was already singing but they put the spotlight when his part is nearly ending. Ugh! What a waste!! And maybe it is good thing that I'm not in the front row. I'll be surely be frightened by the fireworks (?) even Jonghyun is fascinated or amazed there is such thing. But I'm not a fan of such things. Well, that's just my opinion.

And the boys just give me another reason for me to love them.

The boys modified the setlist for the concert and excluded Teardrops in the Rain and Love Rides the Rain (I think!) because of the weather. They don't want the crowd to feel offended or anything. I badly want to hear Teardrops in the Rain live but then it's okay. <3

P.S.

Did you see the PINK PICK?

And here is the video where he get the pick from the stand and it fell. He really went looking for it before starting the song. That incident happened around 1:21 mark of the video.

No one can really imagine what I'm feeling at that moment. That incident happened when they are supposed to sing Love Light. He purposely throws away the pick that he is using to the floor to get the pink pick. He should just have threw the pick to the crowd in front of him. Maybe he wants to be inconspicuous but it is such a fail dude! I know what you are doing and they have shown on the big screen when he got the pick the stand. *insert evil smirk here*

Oh! I was clearly gushing about it but the people around knows nothing about it. So much for being a shipper that I'm energized again by it that I missed singing the first verse of the song. I shall rest my feels about it but then this dude is kind of loquacious about things he should not have definite or specific answer about. Enough of that!

OT4, I really do love you. <3 Seeing and hearing you performing live is such a great experience for me. Right now, I really don't care if I have to send much just for it even though the people around me are always questioning my decision to watch the concert live. It was such a memorable moment for my fangirl life. Actually it still feels surreal till now that I've got to see you perform. Hearing My Miracle, Let Me Know and Love Light live is like an answered prayer. Well, it is not like you will perform those three songs in every concert you've got. I never thought that I can finally see your concert this year. It is almost the end of the year and I can't help it if the hope I've got is slowly draining. For that, I still thank All Access Production. Though I kinda don't like them in some ways and in other ways or maybe most of the time, the fact that they brought you here for the Can't Stop tour is already a thing to be thankful for. But please FNC! Don't be such a pussy next time and please give in to some of the fans demands. Our demands are not that overbearing though so why didn't you give the ramp that we are asking for?! But what is done is done. Though I can't still accept the fact that there is no ramp and other things that were promised. Okay! I have already moved on from it.

Now, you have promised that you will be back next year. I'll hold on to that, okay? *pinky promise* For me, it is time to look for another job so that I can finally start saving so that it won't be such a hassle when you will announce the schedule of your concert here so suddenly. <3

The pictures used in this blog post are not mine since I was too busy fangirling that multi tasking that much is such a hard job. Photos belong to the Araneta Coliseum Page, CNBlue Official Page,  my new Boice friend Jhoaeyo and Mmujie unnie who I haven't met during the concert but is kind enough to let me use the pictures she'd taken. Other pictures used are already tagged or credited to after the said picture.

Hello September!

Can you believe it?!It is already September. Don't you think that everything is happening way too fast for anyone's liking. Well, I can't absolutely comprehend or even try to take in everything that is happening. They are way too fast.

In my mind, I kept a note that I should write something for my birthday. I can't still believe that I'm really an adult right now. Oh! I'm officially an adult last year but then I was still in college during that time and my mind is mud of so many things I have to accomplish to be able to graduate October last year.

I don't know about you but I'm feeling 22!!
Everything will be alright
If you keep next to you.
You don't know about me
But I'll bet you want to.
Everything will be alright
If we just keep dancing like we're
22, ooh-ooh
22, ooh-ooh.

Yeah, right! I'm already 22. I have so many plans for this coming year alone. I fervently hope that I can somehow accomplish some of my goals before I turn 23. Being legal gives someone a new sense of freedom and I tend to fully use it to my advantage.

The first adventure I will take will happen in 16 days time. I can't wait for it! Some fears are there but as always I tend to bury them because for me, they will do nothing good on my renewed self confidence. I still have some of the struggles I'm facing like I have mentioned in the last post but then August has been good to me. I never imagined that I will be able to accomplish some of the things in my to do list last August. Though there are some things that I have to prioritized over the other, I'm still happy with my decisions.

I will certainly update this blog with what's happening in that adventure I'm talking about. I don't like to do a itinerary but I will try to squeeze everything that I want to do and every place I want to go in my 4 day trip. Wish me luck!

I don't know what else to talk about since my mind right now because while I'm writing this one, I'm also watching the Gilas game. Go Gilas! Laban Pilipinas!!

I'll try to write again about what I'm doing if I'm working. I'm tempted to do drama reviews but then I'm afraid that I will just gushed about how awesome and handsome the male lead is. So I don't think I will do one. Maybe I'll just regroup my feelings before doing one.

I can't seem to finish this post because I'm busy cheering on this basketball game. I'll just end it up here!

The Struggles I've Faced

Last week was quite a busy week for me. Aside from fact that it is the end of the month, Can't Stop Live in The Philippines is taking most of my time. I can't believe that I would be that stressed just by arranging all the things that I need to attend to.

I have to look for a ticket, plane tickets and hotel accommodation since my bestfriend who is in Manila decided to return to Davao for good. Imagine also my horror of the total amount I have to spend just to see the concert. I really screamed my heart out. I can't believe I'm willing to spend that amount of money just for my fangirling. Living in the province is definitely a bad idea. I should really move to the metro just liked how I planned before graduating from college.

Thank God! I think Cebu Pacific heard my prayer. They offered a seat sale just in time when I was losing hope and slowly accepting the fact that I have to pay almost six thousand for a round trip plane tickets. Ohh, the said seat sale is still on going.

I absolutely love seat sales because I can spend less on plane tickets meaning I have more pocket money. But in this case, my aunt paid for my it. She asked me to book it using her credit card but I should only use it for that. What she did not know is that I also used it for my hotel accommodation. Well, I will tell her the moment I will depart for Manila so that she can only be angry at me through a phone call. Wise me, don't you agreed?

Now, all I have to think about is the payment for my concert ticket and pocket money. I already have a plan for my pocket money but for the concert ticket, nada! Yes, I'm crazy just like that for booking plane tickets and hotel accommodation without paying for my concert ticket first. Actually, I already have a reserved ticket and the 50% payment is required next week just in time for my salary. I'm going to use my salary to pay for it. Well, I work hard so that I have money to spend for my food cravings and fangirling activities.

Wish me luck that I will be able to reserve another ticket that is nearer. I want to see them up close. I'm spending an inexcusable amount of money for this so I better get the best benefit out of it.
